Honestly, I feel a bit relieved. Things will go to shit after the collapse, I'm deeply aware, but things often get worse before they get better.
I see this collapse almost like finally being able to go home and take a dump after you've been holding it in on your commute home from work. It's a release, just letting go of a burden.
What I hope for mainly is that we don't take anyone else out with us. The US government has this really bad habit of destroying not only its own country, but other countries as well. As long as we're not literally trying to blow anyone else up in the process, I feel like this can only mean good things.

I think we will be fine, the United Nations kind of stopped countries from ever taking over one another. Judging by the past its probably going to be like the dust bowl era where everyone lived in shanty towns. Which already is happening today just the media and cops are just trying to find a way to hide them all.
But that era eventually came to an end and America got back on it's feet again.
